Hold Fast Clips are a two-part clip system used on Sea to Summit tents: A ‘pole foot’ that connects the ends of the poleset to the corners of the tent at ground level. A ‘C-Clip’ that connects the rainfly to the corner of the tent or connects a transverse pole tip to the inner tent. Made of anodised aluminium they are essentially unbreakable, and will not become clogged with mud or snow (unlike plastic tent clips). The C-Clip can be operated with one hand, even when the user is wearing gloves. Hold Fast Clips are anodised in the same colour as the pole end that fits that particular clip (a durable colour-coding system that makes set-up really easy).

Ultra-Sil LS is a series of newly-developed nylon fabrics with a grid of polyester yarns (mini ripstop). Used in tent rainflies, tarps and tent floors, all yarns are from recycled sources, bluesign APPROVED, non-PFAS and flame-retardant free. Ultra-Sil LS utilises a Sil/PeU waterproof coating, with a non-PFAS DWR finish. Advantages: Less stretch (which means a tauter pitch, especially in the wet), quicker drying.

A 40 Denier nylon ripstop with a polycarbonate coating tested to 25,000mm hydrostatic head - more than enough for use in the wettest conditions, year after year.. Polycarbonate was chosen over PU/TPU coatings because of its much greater resistance to in-use damage, making it perfect for tent floors.
